Joseph Morehead Monument

Joseph Morehead was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and was a veteran of the War of Southern Independence. He was elected as the second President of the Guilford Battle Ground Company upon the death of Judge David Schenck.

The inscription on the monument reads:
